Field update #2 - May 2022
The harvest time for coffee cherries varies depending on the region and altitude. As a rule, there is only one harvest a year that lasts 3 to 4 months while the cherries mature. The harvest takes place from September to March in the countries north of the equator. The harvest south of the equator lasts from May to August.
The rains in central brazil stopped and the dry season has started. We will start harvesting this year on May 15 and expect a relatively low harvest. This is due to the climatic problems that have occurred in this part of the world in recent months and have messed up the cycle of coffee.
But there is no need to worry, because thanks to the size and diversity of our farm, we still cut off well compared to our peers and will delight the Cosmo customers with fantastic coffee beans. We will keep you up to date, because the most exciting time of coffee production is about to start!
